Student Auditions and National Student Auditions
This is a annual competition that is open to NATS members and students of NATS members. Singers who participate in the high school, college, and advanced classical and musical theatre categories begin by performing at the state and regional auditions. Five singers from each regional category advance to a national online screening round adjudicated by a panel of national judges. Fourteen singers from each of the fourteen categories (plus the Hall Johnson Spirituals Competition during conference years) advance to the semifinal round where three singers from each category are selected to sing in a final round. The national semifinal and final rounds are held in conjunction with the NATS Summer Workshop.
